Shaping the Character of Insan Kamil: Islamic Education Materials Through Character Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers are experiencing difficulties in carrying out learning process since they can only convey materials realm of cognition, causing affective and psychomotor domains not to be achieved. In fact, role is needed deliver younger generation shaping nation's character. context developing national character, most important agenda concerns collective reform all components nation make changes after undergoing each process. For this reason, research focuses on Islamic education <em>insan kamil</em> through character using effective efficient during pandemic. This was set with active produce who answer ummah's problems. The implementation began planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating. study used a qualitative approach case design, while informants were determined by purposive sampling. data collection techniques employed in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, focus group discussions. Checking validity then carried extending researcher's presence field, deepening observations, triangulation, peer discussion, checking members, transferability, dependence, confirmability. study’s results indicate that shape strategies, blended pandemic.</p>
